T3 at Joint Base Andrews 9/26!
It’s a free tennis clinic! T3 was created with the thought that, using the sport of tennis as the vehicle, we could thank our troops (servicemen, servicewomen, veterans and all their families) for their continued service to our country by making personal appearances at different military installations around the country.
Individuals of all ages and playing abilities are welcome to come learn to all aspects of the game of tennis from former tour players and certified teaching professionals.
This event is free. Participation is limited to military ID cardholders and their families.
For a second year in a row we are adding a second activity, the world’s oldest board game, CHESS! Feel free to drop in for a quick game or stay all afternoon picking up tips.
Bring your family for tennis, a game for the body, or chess, a game for the mind, or both! The chess program is presented by the John Hauge Family of Washington D.C.
NOTE: Only two tennis courts are available for our use this year. Therefore, space in the clinics is very limited.
