There is much talk about support for our troops and their families but one group of tennis volunteers from across the country put that into action stopping through Fort Bragg on Tuesday, July 2 to spend the day with military families.

Dick Stockton, a former world-ranked tennis player will come to Fort Bragg July 2 to launch a free tennis clinic program for military personnel and their families.
“I am very excited to announce this new initiative called ‘T3,’ – Thanking Our Troops through Tennis – and holding our first test event at Fort Bragg,” Stockton said. “We have created a plan to bring a tennis outing to a variety of military installations, and by using our expertise as tennis players and coaches, we will thank the troops, their families, veterans and other military personnel for their honorable service.”

Blue Sky Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce that its “T3” program (Thanking our Troops through Tennis) is coming to Forth Bragg. Individuals of all ages are palying ablities (beginner to advanced) are welcome to come out and learn all aspects of the game of tennis from certified teaching professionals and former tour players.

9-10am clinic for children under 10
10-11am clinic for children over 10
11-12pm adult clinic
1-2pm adult clinic
2-3pm Pro Exhibition, autograph/photo session
Cost per person: $0.00
Bring a racquet if you have one. If not one will be provided for you. Space in all clinics is limited, everyone must sign up in advance.
