We loved this clinic. It provided an introduction to tennis to which my child has never been exposed before. It gave us the opportunity to see if this sport is something she would like doing. She has never done any workshop that involved a ball before. Sad, but true. I love that I can see how well she cooperates with other team members as well as the coaches. I can’t help but say again what a pleasure it was to meet and work with you all at Randolph AFB. Your warmth and kindness showed in everything you both did, and I speak again for the troops that they thoroughly enjoyed their time that day on the courts.
I love tennis, so I’m biased toward anything tennis-related. That said, I found the instruction and activities very innovative and clever. The instructors’ energy was contagious. My daughter was very shy to start, but she quickly warmed up to the activity, and she is excited to get back out on the court.

The T3 event was one of the most enjoyable days my wife and I have had at Fort Jackson over the past two years. The team from T3 was professional, talented, entertaining, informative and simply amazing. I have never stood that close to a Wimbledon Champion in my life or been instructed by such incredible athletes. The clinics were fun, exciting and extremely rewarding. The weather was incredible, and the setting was absolutely perfect. It was incredible to see such talented and caring athletes take the time to take care of soldiers and their families. We may not have produced any future USTA champions, but we could have, or at least planted some seeds for a lifetime of enjoyment and fun in tennis. Thank you to the professionals of T3, and thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Dick Stockton. What an amazing couple and a world-class program. We can’t wait to do it again!!
Dick Stockton’s Thanking our Troops through Tennis was definitely the best event that has come to Fort Jackson in the two years we have been stationed here. The clinics included ALL levels of play and ALL ages which is hard to do with any type of event, but T3 managed to include everyone with ease. The staff was amazing and particularly patient with the youngest players; they actually looked like they were having as much fun as we were! My husband and I were thrilled with the level of excitement that Dick and his staff brought to Fort Jackson, and we are hopeful that they will return! I had the distinct pleasure of participating in a Thanking our Troops through Tennis (T3) event at Fort Jackson on Armed Forces Day, May 17, 2014. It was an outstanding effort by a group of outstanding professionals who made the day a tremendous success, both on and off the courts. The reverberation of the event still echoes across the tennis center at Fort Jackson as the rallying cry is, ‘will there be another such event?’ The Fort Jackson community thanks Dick and Liz Stockton and their volunteers for their extreme efforts. The Thanking our Troops through Tennis (T3) event held at Joint Base Andrews in early Oct 13 was a phenomenal success! We had over 120 participants in every age category and level of playing ability. It was especially gratifying to see so many youth participating in the sport, many for the first time. The T3 professionals and their support staff were fantastic to work with and brought both a teaching atmosphere as well as excitement and energy to the event that you might expect from a group of world-class athletes and professional tennis hall of fame inductees, but they upped their game even more and brought this event to unimaginable levels. Everyone enjoyed this super event from the youngest youth and their families to our senior leaders and retirees. We can’t say enough about the selfless attitude, kind heart and giving spirit of T3 pros that made this event a huge hit…it was just plain fun and we most definitely look forward to our next event…hopefully very soon! For installations out there fortunate enough to be offered this opportunity, jump all over it and be ready for some incredible fun.
